ABOUT THE SHOW

A frustrated would-be novelist, despairing of finding a publisher, returns home from New York City.

But a seemingly insurmountable challenge awaits him and rocks the very core of his being, while those around him struggle to help and to hope.

Rehearsals beginning Thursday January 2, 2025.  Schedule to be established based on actors' availability.


CHARACTER BREAKDOWN: 


NICOLASA Delgado: Widow in her fifties, Smart, very religious and

mother of RUBEN and LOUIS. Works at AutoZone.


RUBEN Delgado: In his twenties. Smart, former novelist who has

suffered a Hemorrhagic stroke. He now has Aphasia, Epilepsy and

struggles for words. He works part time at Lotaburger.


RAMONA: NYC Puerto Rican writer activist who has moved to New

Mexico to be with RUBEN. She is now studying to be a Speech Therapist.


LOUIE Delgado: Son of NICOLASA and older brother to RUBEN. He is a

lawyer and part time writer of cookbooks. Smart.
