Teatro Paraguas Fundraiser Celebration

An afternoon of live music, performances, food, raffles and more!

COST: $15 suggested donation at the door (includes one raffle ticket)

Join us at Teatro Paraguas's Fundraiser Celebration, an exciting and fun-filled event dedicated to supporting our Hispanic and Latinx community theatre.

Performing at the fundraiser will be Melange, a long-time Santa Fe jazz fusion band anchored by JoJo and Jeff Tarnoff. Compania Chuscales & Mina Fajardo bring their spicy flamenco dance once again to the Paraguas stage, and Ballet Folclórico Xochitl adds a note of festive color. The Paraguas Ensemble will stage the bilingual cuento (folktale) Rattling Chains, adapted from a story by Santa Fe's author and historian Nasario Garcia, and a preview of the poetry from ¡Viva México!, a work in progress celebrating Mexican poetry, music and dance in honor of Mexican Independence Day coming to the Paraguas stage in September.
