"Paul Catafago is a Palestinian-Lebanese-American cultural

organizer and writer. He has performed spoken word poetry in

venues such as the Nuyorican Poets Cafe and The Poetry

Project. His poetry has been published in journals such as

Tribes, The Pedestal and Suspect. His poem, "Remember Us"

was recently nominated for a 2025 "Best of the Web" award.

Paul Catafago's first book of poetry, "Sumud: Poems of the

Palestinian Diaspora" will be published later in 2024 by Sligo

Creek Publishing. He currently lives in New Orleans where he

has produced documentaries of elder musicians and

performed poetry with jazz musicians."
